The characteristics of the mesh air layer of recycled polyester beads come from the dual synergy of raw material regeneration and modification and three-layer structural design:

  1. Environmental protection and performance mechanism of recycled polyester: The raw material comes from recycled PET plastic bottles, which are cleaned, melted, and spun to regenerate into fiber. The molecular structure is consistent with that of virgin polyester. It retains the characteristics of polyester that is stiff, wear-resistant, and wrinkle-resistant. It also reduces the consumption of petroleum-based raw materials and reduces the carbon footprint. Through optimization of the spinning process, the breaking strength of recycled polyester fiber can reach 3.5-4.0cN/dtex, which is the same as virgin polyester.

  2. Warp knitting manufacturing process

    • A high-speed warp knitting machine is equipped with three bars. Bars 1 and 3 weave the surface pique mesh and the bottom plain weave, and bar 2 weaves the connecting yarn for the middle air layer. The warp density is controlled at 200-240/10cm, and the weft pulling speed is synchronized to ensure uniform air layer thickness (0.3-0.8mm adjustable);

    • During weaving, the recycled polyester yarn needs to be treated with antistatic treatment to avoid yarn fluffing and breakage. The weight of the fabric is controlled at 180-300g/㎡ to adapt to different clothing scenarios.

Post-finishing process: First, pre-shaping at 160-170°C eliminates the internal stress of the weaving, and then uses disperse dyes for low-temperature dyeing (110-120°C) to reduce energy consumption and fiber damage; finally, softeners, antibacterial agents or anti-UV additives are applied to improve the feel and functional added value of the fabric, and the final setting temperature is controlled at 150°C.

  • Washing method: Use neutral detergent, hand wash in cold water or gentle machine wash (put in a laundry bag), avoid vigorous rubbing to prevent mesh damage and air layer delamination; bleach and chlorine-containing detergents are prohibited to avoid damaging the fibers;

  • Drying and ironing: Lay flat to dry in a cool and ventilated place, prohibit exposure to the sun; if ironing is required, control the temperature at 110-120°C, iron with a cloth at low temperature, and avoid direct ironing of the mesh area;

  • Special attention: avoid friction with sharp objects when wearing to prevent snagging; the fabric has good wrinkle resistance and does not require frequent ironing in daily life.
