Double-sided coral velvet silver foil is a high-end textile processing technology that combines silver foil technology with double-sided coral velvet fabrics. Metallic silver foil is attached to the surface of the fabric to form a silver luster pattern. It not only retains the core characteristics of double-sided coral velvet that is soft and warm, but also adds light luxury texture and visual hierarchy through the silver foil process. Double-sided coral velvet is the core carrier of the silver hot stamping process. It is a chemical fiber velvet fabric with a double-layer structure. The core raw material is 100% polyester fiber (polyester). Some high-end models will add 3%-5% spandex to improve elasticity and resilience. Both the front and back sides are made of coral velvet. The fibers are finely curled. The fluff is dense and uniform in length. It feels as soft as clouds. The air layer formed by the double-layer structure can lock more still air, and the warmth retention is 1.2-1.5 times that of ordinary single-layer coral velvet. At the same time, it has the basic advantages of anti-pilling, anti-static, and not easy to shed. The fabric weight is mostly between 300-800g/㎡, and the door width is generally 150-230cm, adapting to different processing needs.
The core process of double-sided coral velvet silvering is hot press silvering, which is different from ordinary fabrics. The process parameters need to be adjusted according to the characteristics of the suede. The process principle is as follows: the hot-melting foil with a specific pattern is attached to the surface of the coral velvet fabric through high-temperature and high-pressure equipment, so that the hot-melt adhesive layer in the hot-silver foil melts and is closely combined with the fabric fibers. After cooling, the silver foil pattern is firmly attached to the fabric. The temperature (120-160°C) and pressure need to be precisely controlled during production. If the temperature is too high, it will easily collapse the fluff and cause oxidation of the silver foil. If the temperature is too low, the silver foil will fall off. At the same time, a flexible hot stamping plate should be selected to reduce damage to the fluffiness of the fluff.
The production process pays attention to details. The core steps are: first, pre-process the double-sided coral velvet, remove impurities through pre-washing and shaping, and comb the fluff to make it flat and fluffy to improve the adhesion of the silver foil; then, make the silver foil and foil according to the design requirements, and transfer the fabric Fix it on the hot stamping equipment; then perform hot stamping, and complete the pattern transfer according to the preset parameters; finally perform post-processing, restore the fluffiness of the fabric fluff through gentle combing, check the firmness and integrity of the silver foil pattern, and perform secondary ironing on the edge warping parts.
