Double-sided coral velvet is the core carrier of printing. It is a composite velvet fabric. The core raw material is 100% polyester fiber (polyester). Some high-end models add 3%-5% spandex to improve elasticity. The coral velvet fibers on the front are slender and curly, with fluffy and dense fluff, light and soft to the touch; the shell velvet fibers on the reverse are shorter and denser, with small granular bulges, which are very skin-friendly and suitable for direct contact with the skin. Digital direct printing has high precision and can restore complex patterns such as delicate flowers, cartoons, and gradients. The dye directly penetrates the fiber without destroying the fluffiness of the fluff. Thermal transfer printing has bright and saturated colors and excellent color fastness. The color fastness to dry rubbing reaches level 4-5 and the color fastness to wet rubbing reaches level 3-4. It is suitable for large-area simple patterns and is currently the most widely used method. Both processes avoid the use of heavy slurries to prevent the fabric from hardening and retain the softness of both sides to a large extent.
The production process pays attention to detail control. The core steps are: first, pre-process the double-layer fabric, remove impurities through pre-washing and shaping, and comb the pile to make it flat and fluffy to improve dye adsorption; then select the printing process according to the pattern requirements, and complete the printing on the front of the fabric (coral suede) Production, precise control of temperature and pressure to avoid high temperature crushing of fluff; then color fixation, locking the color through medium and low temperature baking to prevent fading; finally post-finishing, restoring the original bulkiness of coral velvet and shell velvet through gentle combing, and checking the pattern clarity and fabric feel.

Maintenance needs to follow the characteristics of velvet fabrics: it is recommended to hand wash gently with neutral detergent, control the water temperature below 30°C, and avoid vigorous rubbing of the printed area; it can be machine washed at low temperature but needs to be placed in a laundry bag, and cannot be bleached or dried; when drying, lay it flat in the shade and avoid exposure to the sun to prevent pattern fading and pile deformation; store it in a dry and ventilated place, avoid contact with sharp objects, and prevent snagging.
